Der “RDM-Trenntrafo” 3401B-H: Eine optische Entkopplung und eine Leitungsverstärkung bietet der DMX RDM Line Booster 3401B-H. Das schlanke Gerät passt auf DIN-Normtragschiene 35mm und verfügt über einen mikroprozessorgesteuerten Protokolldetektor zur einwandfreien DMX-Analyse. Die Anzeige erfolgt durch rot/grün-LEDs.
Der 3401B-H ist DMX / RDM-kompatibel und kann damit auch zur “Verlängerung” von RDM-Leitungen eingesetzt werden.
Transparentes Device
Der DMX Booster 3401B-H ist 100 % RDM kompatibel, tritt aber als eigener RDM-Teilnehmer nicht in Erscheinung. Daher hat auch die Menge der in einem System verbauten Splitter keinen Einfluss auf die Anzahl der zu verwaltenden RDM-Teilnehmer. Dieses Verhalten bezeichnet man als “transparent”: Effektiv, aber unauffällig. Da er sich nur um die Struktur, nicht aber um den Protokollinhalt kümmern muss, haben zukünftige Inhalte des RDM-Protokolls für den 3401B-H keine Bedeutung. Er funktioniert immer.

The “RDM ISOLATION TRANSFORMER“: Both, signal amplification and in/out isolation are provided by the 3401B-H DMX RDM Line Booster. The unit clips onto standard DIN rail (35mm) and features a microprocessor controlled protocol detector to indicate protocol compliance.
The 3401B-H is fully DMX RDM compatible and is the best solution to “extend” DMX data lines.
Transparent device
The 3401B-H is fully RDM compatible, but it does not appear as RDM device itself. Thus the 3401B-H does not show any RDM properties. This does neither affect the number of connected RDM devices nor RDM functionality. This behaviour is known as “transparent”: effective, inconspicious. Since the 3401B-H only cares about the standardized structure of RDM commands, and does not care about contents, on of its big advantages is to function absolutely independent of signal contents. Thus future changes or amendments to RDM commands will never affect the 3401B-H: this device will function always.
